Restorative & Vinyasa Yoga Classes in Petoskey, MI

Yesterday, I took my first yoga classes at Yoga Roots (413 Howard Street). Tiffany Lenau, owner of Yooga Roots, took me through an hour and a half of “Gentle Restorative” Yoga. Tiffany is a great instructor as she approaches teaching with a lighthearted attitude that gives novices (young and old) room to learn and fumble.

Working out years of stiffness in one’s muscles and tendons is not something to be accomplished overnight or even in a month or two. There are many positive reports on the health and wellness benefits of yoga. I was feeling so good after my first yoga class, I decided to stay for the next yoga class – Vintasa Yoga or Flow Yoga.

Boy, did I learn a thing or two! I have miles to go before I sleep! It’s going to take some time to get the flexibility needed, learn the poses and get into the flow.

Yoga Roots will be offering a summer pass (about $299) for three months of unlimited yoga classes. For those wanting to limber up and get back in shape, taking yoga classes in Petoskey at Yoga Roots might be the thing to do.
