No Kidding About Early Spring in Petoskey

Petoskey Gets a Scarification

As I walked to Roast & Toast this morning, city workmen were busy dethatching the grass along Mitchell Street – a sure sign that Spring has arrived early in Petoskey, MI. The lack of snow on the ground and temperatures in the 60’s could also be clues.

If there is snow to ski / snowboard on, the kids will be doing so in shorts & tank tops at the upcoming Boyne Mountain Carnival Weekend.

Take advantage of a new hiking adventure this year. A new trail is ready for hikers off of Krause Road just outside of Petoskey. The trail is part of the North Country trail that spans seven states.

And just in time for the summer entrepreneur rush, the Northern Lakes Economic Alliance’s Small Business Incubator Program received a $50K federal grant.
