Happy Days @ Bob-In-Again in Petoskey
Friends and I had dinner at the Side Door the other night in Petoskey, MI. The Side Door is a laid-back pub and burger joint on Hwy 31 that was jammed-packed when we walked in and when we left.
My friends had been raving about the burgers, so I had one with cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce.
The burger was good, the service friendly and the company wonderful. The owners of the Harbor Springs log home that is for sale walked in and joined the conversation.
We decided to go elsewhere for dessert and wound up down the street at the Bob-In-Again. What a treat! I expected Fonzi and Richie to walk in at any moment.
Great tunes from the 50’s were playing as we enjoyed sundaes and coffee. I can recommend the Toskey Turtle for those that like to go with both caramel and chocolate.
The Bob-In-Again closes at 9pm in the winter, but the staff allowed us to stay and continue chatting while they cleaned up the place.
The Bob-In-Again is a great place to hang out and enjoy a blast from the past. As we left, I got a sample of the home-made rootbeer… ahhhhh.
